One afternoon, guided by something deeper than reason, I booked five one-way plane tickets. I thought I was chasing adventure. What I found was far more powerful than a career. I found a calling.
Back then, I was simply a traveler, teaching yoga wherever my feet touched the earth: Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong. One breath, one movement, one heart at a time, I gave what I could.
Beneath the beauty of those moments, something else was awakening in me. It stirred in the silence after savasana. It shimmered in the soft eyes of a student who had finally exhaled. It whispered every time my own soul said, There is more to give.
And then came 2020. The world paused. But something inside me cracked open.
Students I’d met along the way began reaching out not for yoga, but for connection. For truth. For a safe place to land.
One woman wrote, simply: Do you have time to talk? She didn’t need a down dog. She needed to be heard. I almost said no. I wasn’t a certified coach. I had no program, no polished framework just presence, heart, and the lessons I’d earned by walking through fire and finding my way home again.
