Getting Honest With Yourself The Radical Truth That Changes Everything
Why your next level begins the moment you finally admit what you’ve always known deep inside.
Honesty is not confession, it is liberation.
There is a silent chamber inside you a place untouched by performance, pretending, or playing small. You know this place well. You feel it every time you’re even slightly out of truth. It shows up as a pull. A heaviness. A tremble in your heart. A tightening in your belly.
Because the deepest part of you always knows when you’re walking away from your highest state. Your highest state is love. And love is truth. And truth is peace.
This peace is your natural rhythm, the gentle hum your soul returns to when you stop fighting, forcing, calculating, and over-explaining.
There can be many truths in the world, many perspectives that coexist… but your ultimate truth is the one that nourishes your heart and quietly uplifts everyone around you.
Truth doesn’t beg. Truth doesn’t chase. Truth doesn’t tremble. Truth simply is. And when you are out of truth, the body speaks.
The heart quickens. The mind becomes loud. A dis-ease settles in your chest. That is your inner compass whispering, “You’re not in your natural state.” Whenever you find yourself fighting for a truth, convincing yourself of a truth, or rationalizing a truth, your body already knows it isn’t one.

So right here, right now… I invite you to relax more deeply than you have in days. Exhale fully. Then inhale through the nose, expanding your chest, your ribs, your entire body with breath. Exhale again, imagine a wave cascading from the crown of your head down to your toes, softening you open. Now zoom inward.
Ask yourself truthfully, gently, without judgment: “Where in my life do I know I could do better?” Not from shame. Not from pressure. But from clarity. This moment is the practice of honesty. No one is watching. No one is judging. Only you and your truth exist here. Let yourself see everything clearly:
Your finances. Your body. Your health. Your discipline. Your relationships. Your living environment. Your habits. Your patterns. Your choices. Your desires.
This moment you’re living right now, it is not your final destination. It is simply the mirror of your past decisions.
So ask yourself:
What choices brought me here?
What choices will lead me to where I desire to be next?
What kind of support do I require?
How can I help myself rise?
Who must I become to create the life I’m meant for?
Because as long as you are breathing, you are evolving. Life continues. Chapters shift. You are meant to keep becoming.
Most people don’t end up where they truly desire to be, not because they are incapable, but because they avoid radical honesty. They let circumstances choose their life instead of choosing themselves.
But when you become radically honest… you take your power back.
You see that everything you require is already here in this present moment waiting to be used, seen, claimed.
In honesty, your energy expands. Your vision sharpens. Your awareness widens. Your life opens. Dishonesty contracts you. It tightens the chest. It clouds the mind. It dims your inner light and makes life feel heavy.
In yogic teachings, there is a sacred practice called Satya means truthfulness. When you are in truth, your energy is clear. Your intuition is precise. Your vision is bright. When you are out of truth, you walk through life like a dark room, bumping into furniture you could easily avoid if you simply turned on the light.
We lie to escape pain… But the lie only hurts us longer. I think about the last time I lied to myself. The moment I ignored my intuition and convinced myself my inner knowing was being dramatic. And of course, that choice brought me more pain than the truth ever would have.
I also remember the moments when I could have lied when I could have chosen the convenient path instead of the truthful one and how every truthful decision led me here: To Breathflow, my yoga and meditation studio in Manila. To my new clients. To this life. To this 46th-floor home with the city lights stretching endlessly beneath me. One lie could have erased all of this.
Every choice, tiny or monumental shapes the world you wake up in.
Because honesty is the first doorway of your evolution.
And once you walk through it… you never return to who you were.
Today, you are not just reading. You are reshaping your destiny one honest breath, one honest choice, one honest step at a time.
Your next chapter begins now.

Here’s an inner-work option to support your integration
JOURNAL PROMPT: Radical Honesty
1. What truth have I quietly known but avoided admitting, and why?
2. Where in my life do I feel the subtle heaviness of dishonesty (in my body, actions, relationships, money, habits, or desires)?
3. What honest desire have I been suppressing that is asking to be acknowledged today?
4. What is one decision I’ve been postponing that my future self is begging me to make now?
5. Who am I when I stop lying to myself, even a little?
Let the answers rise without censorship. Let your hand become the voice of your soul.
CLOSING AFFIRMATION
“I honor the truth within me.
My honesty liberates me.
I choose clarity over comfort,
alignment over avoidance,
and the path that my soul already knows is mine."
Read it slowly. Feel each line anchor itself in your chest.
MINI INTEGRATION RITUAL
1. Sit in stillness for 3 deep breaths.
Inhale through the nose, expanding your chest.
Exhale through the mouth, releasing all disguises. Let it all go.
2. Place your hand over your heart and whisper your truth out loud.
One sentence is enough.
3. Write down ONE honest action.
Just one. Make it simple, doable, and undeniably true.
Examples:
• “I will organize my finances.”
• “I will clean my space.”
• “I will speak the truth to myself about what I desire.”
4. Do the action today.
Before you sleep. Let your body feel the sensation of living in alignment.
5. End by saying:
“I return to myself. I return to truth.”
You are reshaping your destiny, one honest breath, one honest choice, one honest step at a time. Your next chapter begins now.
If you desire profound clarity in your truth, I can offer you a sacred hour that melts away the fog and clears whatever has been clouding your vision.
